The Madonio Family Animal Welfare Trust presents Dogs Days of Summer 2017, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 19 at Hometown Bank Plaza, downtown Kent. Strut Your Mutt Dog Parade, APL and Rose's Rescue adoptions, best dressed dog contest, vet booths, pet product vendors, food trucks, live music, family activities and giveaways, Thirsty Dog Beer, Handel's Ice Cream, Popped! Treats, Top Dog contest.

The Suffield League Music Festival will be held from 5 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and noon to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at Wingfoot Lake State Park in Suffield. The event will feature live music, food, games for kids. A car show will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 19

Main Street Ravenna will host a Dowtown Ravenna Walking Tour at 6 p.m. Aug. 17. Join local historian Jack Schafer for an interesting look at the downtown. The tour will focus on the courthouse, city halls, Town Hall, post office and library and include little-known facts about the buildings. The tours are free but have a suggested donation of $5. All attendees should meet at the flagpole on the Portage County Courthouse lawn 15 minutes before the tour. All tours are weather-permitting. Online registration and tour status are available at mainstreetravenna.org. The tour will be repeated at 11 a.m. Aug. 26.

Immaculate Conception Parish will hold a Music, Food and Cruise-In Festival from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 18 and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 19 at the parish, 225 Sycamore St., Ravenna. The event will feature music, food and cars.

Art

Group Ten Gallery will present its fourth Anniversary Members' Exhibition through Sept. 16. It will feature the art of 15 artists in varied styles and media. A wine and hors d'oeuvres opening reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 11. Location: 201 East Erie Street, Kent.
